We happened upon Austin (left) and Martin (right) in the balcony of the Ogden theatre as they awaited the Tramped by Turtles to come onstage. Austin left Chicago last April and got to Denver as fast as he could. He’s had his beard since October 14th, when he had to shave for his sister’s wedding— now that’s love. He loves taking his beard with him to skate parks and concerts. His buddy Martin, who’s originally from upstate New York and Germany, now calls Denver home. He used to work in the music industry in mainly ska and hip hop, but now breeds snakes, bull pythons, and other reptiles and sells them from home–up to 40 breeds! With a badass job like that, of course he has an equally bad ass beard. He’s kept his beard for the last 10 years or so, and we hope he keeps it for decades more!
